International Education and Internship Opportunities in France
Study abroad in France! Through our partnership with , °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø students can study or complete an internship at Ircom’s Angers and Lyon campuses. Eligible students can apply for funding through the Global Skills Opportunities (GSO) program.
Opportunities Include:
International Exchange

Political Science, Humanities, Angers and Lyon campuses, semester 1 (Sept- Dec), French Instruction only, B1 French Language Proficiency (equivalent to intermediate) required.

Communications, Angers campus only, semester 1 (Sept- Dec), French Instruction only, B1 French Language Proficiency (equivalent to intermediate) required.

Exchange program costs- tuition and fees paid to °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø (no international fees), students are responsible for travel and accommodations.
Summer French Language Program

French as a Foreign Language, 3 weeks (2024: Monday, August 26 – Friday, September 13), Angers campus only, no program fee, student is responsible for travel and accommodations.
Paid Internship- Conversational English Teacher

Angers and Lyon campuses, (4 months Sept-Dec or Jan-Apr), English-language credited internships, no program fee, student is responsible for travel and accommodations.

GSO Funding Available:
Funding through Global Skills Opportunity (GSO) is available to eligible students this year. Students can receive a GSO grant for in-person travel, only once throughout their university degree. Grants are available for up to $5,000 CAD to help with trip costs.
Recipients of GSO funding can only receive funding once during their entire time as St. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø students for in-person experiences. All recipients of funding must:

Be a registered °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø student before and during the experience, in good academic standing.

Be a Canadan Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Complete pre-departure and post-experience questionnaires from the GSO portal.

Participate in pre-departure workshops and preparation sessions and/or educational modules.

Abide by all St. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø policies before and during the trip.

The application for GSO funding link will be provided to eligible students once applications are reviewed and approved.
Apply for any one of these opportunities through the International Exchange Program, minimum eligibility requirements:

Completed 30 credit hours.

Minimum GPA requirement of a 3.0, except for the 3-week French as a Foreign Language program, which has a minimum requirement of a 2.5 GPA.

Submit application by the deadline of May 15, 2024.
