°ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø and MFC Training Announce New Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream)

St. °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø, along with the MFC Training (Fredericton Campus), is pleased to announce a new Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream).  
 
Building on the strengths of the excellent undergraduate Bachelor of Arts program at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø, the University is proud to collaborate with MFC Training on this exciting opportunity for students seeking an undergraduate degree and professional flight training.  
 
Bachelor of Arts (Aviation Stream) students will graduate from the four-year program with a Bachelor of Arts, Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL), Multi-engine class rating, Group 1 instrument rating. They will begin their studies at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø, completing a full year of academic coursework in the social sciences and humanities before beginning flight training and ground school courses with MFC during their second year.  
 
“We know that °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø Bachelor of Arts graduates are already working in a diversity of careers—including within the air transportation industry,” said Dr. Nauman Farooqi, °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø President and Vice-Chancellor. “This is an excellent addition to our existing offerings that will enhance opportunities for students seeking an exciting and fulfilling education and career.” 
 
Dr. Farooqi added that °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±Íø’s campus being only approximately 10 minutes from the MFC Fredericton campus presents a convenient advantage for students looking to pair these programs.  
 
“The addition of a university degree to professional flight training will enhance career opportunities for graduates in addition to serving a desire among students to access a more traditional and full university experience,” he added.
